About

I am a graduate of the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.  I graduated in May of 2009 and enjoyed every minute of my program as a global studies major.  It was always intellectually stimulating and challenging, and the people I met were amazing.  That being said, I am very glad to be out of college and in the real world where I can finally put my degree to use.

I am currently waiting to hear back about a number of jobs, such as a literacy tutor with the AmeriCorps in St. Paul, and an international student specialist with the University of Arizona.  I’m hoping for some experience in the classroom, or with international students, so I can reapply for the Fulbright to teach English in Europe in the next year or two.  My longterm goal is to live there for some time within the next 5-10 years.

I encourage and welcome your comments and feedback, and thanks for reading!
